As his undercurrent of disapproval dwindles, it's replaced by friendship--or perhaps something deeper? But Calla is not in Alaska to stay and Jonah will never leave. It would be foolish of her to kindle a romance, to take the same path her parents tried--and failed at--years ago.

It's a simple truth that turns out to be not so simple after all.

Snabb sammanfattning av vad jag tyckte
Den här boken var en romantisk bok helt i min smak. Historien fastnar och jag funderar över den även när jag inte läser, vilket är ett av de bästa betyg en bok kan få tycker jag. 

Huvudkaraktären, Calla är från början ingen jag gillar särskilt mycket. Rätt bortskämd och ytlig, faktiskt. Men hennes utveckling i och med att hon reser till Alaska är intressant att läsa om. De personer hon möter längs resan fördjupar berättelsen och gör den sorglig, kärleksfull och stundtals rolig. Miljön blir snabbt som en egen karaktär som sätter sin prägel på allt och alla. Jag hade kunnat tänka mig mer av Alaska och livet där, men också den storslagna natur som finns där. 

I slutändan är det en riktigt fin berättelse om familj, kärlek och vänskap med Alaskas vilda natur som skådeplats.
